Artist & storyteller

The work begins with connection.

Jadeon Rathgeber, also known as Medicine Bear, is a First Nations artist, storyteller, and grassroots advocate whose life reflects resilience, cultural continuity, and personal transformation.

A proud descendant of Wapuskogimaw (White Bear Chief) and a member of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, Jadeon’s roots are connected to the traditions, artistry, and stories of Turtle Island.

Through Medicine Bear Arts, he creates more than heirloom-quality jewellery. His work invites people to learn, reflect, and connect through art, storytelling, and shared human experience.
